Annual Funding Opportunity: Eligible Georgia Non-Profit Agencies and Public Entities ONLY

The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services is pleased to announce the release date of a funding opportunity for family-serving, non-profit agencies and public entities through its Promoting Safe and Stable Families (PSSF) program. PSSF provides funding for community-based services to children and families who may be at risk for child abuse and neglect or have had confirmed reports of child abuse and neglect and are involved with the state's child welfare agency.

All agencies interested in submitting a proposal for FFY2019 PSSF funding MUST attend the Bidders Meeting. Applicants are required to submit proposals electronically. Usernames and passwords used to upload proposals will only be available at the Bidders Meeting.

SafeCare Session to follow 1:30pm - 3:00pm

The SafeCare session is only for those applicants interested in submitting a proposal for a SafeCare Augmented Program. SafeCare Augmented is an evidence-based home visitation model for at-risk families with children 0-5. This informational session will provide you with an overview to SafeCare, how it can be implemented in your community, and how to best approach the PSSF application. You will hear from Program Developers at Georgia State University and from a current agency that is providing SafeCare in Georgia.

Submission Deadline: April 17, 2018 12:00 NOON EDT
Proposals must be submitted electronically, as directed in the SoN, and received in their entirety by the deadline.

Technical Assistance: March 21 - 30, 2018
Information on requesting technical assistance will be included in the SoN document and communicated at the Bidders Meeting.
