Prevention in Action
These include prevention and early intervention services like home-based education, parent education classes, connecting families to community resources, school outreach and life-skills training that increase parental competence and enhance the strength of families.  Special outreach and services to relative caregivers, such as grandparents, are also provided.  For those families in crisis because of substance abuse, treatment and recovery support are provided.
