Objectives of the Program:
The objective of the training is to increase  awareness of issues around sexual safety. The training is helpful for direct care staff, and supervisors relative to hiring staff/Foster Parents and understanding their issues along with the children that are served. The targeted audience includes those who have policy/decision making authority, as well as direct care employees.

About the Trainer:
Nina M. Johnson is a LMSWwith a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College and a Masters in Social Work from The University of Georgia. Ms. Johnson has pursued a career in the field of social work to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families.  She has dedicated more than six years to providing direct and indirect services to children, adults, and families in diverse communities with diverse challenges. Ms. Johnson has developed leadership and sibling model training curricula for the Georgia, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia Neighbor to Family, Inc. sites.  Ms. Johnson served as a clinical therapist for Neighbor To Family, Inc. and currently provides and manages training for 300 Neighbor to Family, Inc. staff.

Target Audience: Direct Care Staff, Supervisors, and Clinical Staff--the targeted audience includes those who have policy/decision making authority, as well as direct care employees.
