About the Training

Translating Diagnostic Labels and Categories into a Format that Makes Sense for Everyday Living.  This workshop is designed for direct care staff and foster parents to gain a basic knowledge of the DSM-IV and ten major child and adolescent diagnostic categories.  Diagnosis will be translated into everyday language and examples with an emphasis on how they appear in the home environment.
